Mozambique customer purchased the first set of emulsified bitumen equipment from our company in December 2025. After the stable operation of the first set of equipment and good use feedback, the customer placed another order to purchase the second emulsified bitumen production line in March 2026.
Recently, our team of engineers went to the project site to complete the installation, commissioning and technical training of operators. At present, the second set of emulsified bitumen plant has been installed and put into production smoothly.
What is emulsified bitumen plant?
Principle of emulsified bitumen: under the action of emulsifier, the hot-melt asphalt is dispersed into tiny asphalt particles through high-speed shearing, which are uniformly suspended in the aqueous solution. The whole set of production requires extremely high control accuracy of temperature, flow rate and shearing speed.
Our modular emulsified bitumen equipment is equipped with high-speed colloid mill shearing host at the core, which can accurately control asphalt phase temperature, water phase temperature, emulsifier addition ratio and material flow rate. The produced emulsified asphalt has uniform particles, good storage stability and controllable demulsification time, and is suitable for various road construction processes.
Equipment can produce cationic fast cracking, cracking, slow cracking emulsified asphalt, different types of use to distinguish:
- Fast cracking type: suitable for gravel seal
- Medium crack type: used for micro-surface treatment, slurry sealing layer
- Slow cracking type: used for cold mix asphalt mixture
The emulsified asphalt equipment adopts modular container-type structure, which is convenient for sea transportation and rapid assembly on site. The equipment can produce stable emulsified asphalt products for road sealing, micro-surfacing, slurry sealing and pavement maintenance construction, which is perfect for Mozambique local road construction and rehabilitation needs.
