Customers Often ask what the uses of polymer modified bitumen plant are. Let's take a look at what role it plays in road construction.

Polymer modified bitumen plant is mainly used for the production of high-standard pavement materials. Its core application is to uniformly mix polymers such as SBS and rubber powder with ordinary asphalt, thereby significantly enhancing the road performance of bitumen.

This type of equipment solves two key problems:

1. Enhance asphalt performance: By adding polymers, asphalt can achieve better high-temperature deformation resistance, low-temperature crack resistance, fatigue resistance and durability, thereby paving more durable and better-experienced roads.
2. Achieving high-quality production: Its core value lies in the ability to precisely and homogenize the dispersion of polymers (especially insoluble SBS) in asphalt, which is the technical key to producing qualified modified asphalt.

Core technology and efficiency

· Core device: The core is a high-speed shear colloid mill or grinding machine, which is responsible for shearing and grinding the polymer to the micron level and uniformly dispersing it.

· Production efficiency: The capacity of traditional equipment is approximately 20 to 40 tons per hour, while modern intelligent production lines can reach over 60 tons per hour, enabling continuous production.

· Versatility: Most of the equipment features "one machine with multiple functions", capable of producing various modified asphalts such as SBS, rubber powder, and PE.

Control system: Ordinary equipment adopts PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to automatically control the production process.

The main application scenarios: The produced modified asphalt is mainly used in high-grade highways, urban main roads, airport runways, bridge deck pavement and other projects with high requirements for pavement performance
